Natural Gas Liquefaction Plant (Sakhalin Energy)

Process engineers participated in operation of the only large-capacity LNG plant in the territory of the Russian Federation work at Cryogastech LLC.

Sakhalin Energy LNG Plant is designated for intake, conditioning, processing and liquefaction of associated gas from Piltun-Astokhskoye field and natural gases of Lunskoye field as well as shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by sea in tankers. Energy and utility facilities are provided to maintain the LNG Plant operation. They provide LNG storage in two cryogenic tanks, loading of vessels at a berth, storage of liquid ethane and pre-mixed refrigerant (PMR) stock, generation of electrical energy, production of utility air, instrument air and nitrogen. The plant is provided with a fuel gas system, a high-temperature fluid system, a water drainage system, a sewage treatment system and a flare system (pressure relief and liquid disposal system).
