Helium liquefaction technology

The process is a modified Brayton cycle with two levels of pressure and pre-stage cooling with liquid nitrogen.

The liquefaction of helium consists of the following subsystems:

·         Compression system;

·         Oil removal system;

·         Control system flow and pressure of the helium;

·         Cold block (cold-box);

·         Storage of liquid helium;

·         Storage of liquid nitrogen;

·         Refueling site.
